Terms of Use

These terms govern the private Greene County court-reference resource. A visitor who reads a page or uses a search tool accepts these conditions. Do not continue to use the resource if you do not accept them.

NO FCRA USE. This is a private resource, unaffiliated with any local, state, or federal court or government agency. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). It and its advertising partners may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or another FCRA-regulated decision. It offers Greene County court-reference routes, not consumer reports or investigative services.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference resource, not a court or government office. It does not maintain official dockets or case files, retrieve records, move settings, or file documents for visitors.

It identifies official Greene County clerk and court routes, including the Mississippi electronic-court path when it applies. Any independent search tool remains subject to its own terms.

2. Informational Use Only

Material is general reference, not an official docket, court order, or legal advice. Mississippi public-record access includes Miss. Code §25-61-5, while court access also follows the MEC administrative procedures. Confirm a material fact with the court or clerk that holds it.

3. Rules for Using This Site

A visitor agrees not to:

  • break a federal, state, or local law through use of the resource
  • use material to stalk, harass, or threaten another person
  • make a hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decision from site material
  • seek unauthorized access to systems or data
  • run bots, scrapers, or other automated tools against the pages
  • interfere with the resource’s normal availability for others

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

This resource is not a consumer reporting agency. It does not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Neither it nor an advertising partner provides FCRA-regulated screening. A visitor agrees not to use site or linked-tool information to:

  • make an employment decision
  • make a rental or housing decision
  • judge creditworthiness or set insurance rates
  • determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government program
  • perform another use regulated by the FCRA

Any FCRA-regulated use requires an appropriate FCRA-compliant provider, not this resource or a linked search tool.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing here is legal advice. The material cannot determine how a Greene County case, charge, order, or filing deadline applies to a person. Seek a licensed Mississippi attorney for legal advice.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Material is provided “as is.” No assurance is made that:

  • information is accurate, complete, or current at every moment
  • the resource will always remain available without interruption
  • pages will be free of error, defect, or security vulnerability
  • an outside search-tool result will be complete or accurate

Court records change as cases are filed, hearings are set, settings move, and matters are sealed, dismissed, or amended. Gaps can occur. Confirm a docket entry or court date with the court or clerk that keeps it before relying on it.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to clerk sites, court portals, Mississippi electronic-court services, legal-aid material, or outside search services. Their content, availability, charges, data practices, and terms are outside this resource’s control. Review their terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Greene County Court Docket or its content partners. Copying, distributing, modifying, or creating derivative material requires written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, liability is disclaimed for losses arising from use of this resource or a decision based on its content or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from claims, actions, or demands arising from your use of the resource or breach of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

Mississippi law governs these terms. A dispute related to use of the resource must be filed in a court located in Mississippi.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated. A posted revision is effective when it appears on this page.
